Taymer International Incorporated is a Canadian manufacturer of machine vision and length measurement equipment. We are primarily active in the wire and cable industry. We currently require a German-Speaking Computer Vision Developer to join our team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Photonics Engineers.

Position Summary
Taymer continues to grow significantly as our technology becomes more widely accepted in the market. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with us in these new product arenas. The successful applicant will be comfortable travelling to customer locations in Europe, as well as solving electro-mechanical issues on the fly.
Location

Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in German and English
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers.
- Ability to work independently. Must be a self-starter.
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of Electrical Circuits.
- Familiar with industrial control systems.
- Familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
- Machining and fabrication experience.
Education Requirements
- Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering Degree
Work Experience Requirements
- Experience servicing and maintaining Industrial Machinery is an asset.
- Experience with CRM software is an asset.
- Demonstrated on-the-job problem-solving experience.
- Experience working with vision systems, including lighting and optics, is an asset.
- Experience in international business an asset.
- Experience in the wire and cable industry an asset
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reside in Munich Area, Germany.
- Install and service Taymer equipment at customer locations.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and Engineering to ensure all customer needs are documented and met.
- Work together with Engineering to assemble, fabricate and service components for Taymer’s machinery in the field.
- Regular travel to customer locations in the DACH region as well as other western European countries
