Manual Wire Coiling or Spooling Systems
Simple and easy to use, the coiling and spooling systems are designed to work with the LR100 measuring device. There are different sizes to choose from that will meet your needs.
LR100-1410: Footage
This wire counter accommodates a wide variety of flexible materials from 1/64″ to 7/8″ diameter. Measures wire rope and similar stiff materials to 1/2″ diameter.
Quickly interchangeable Guide Tubes with I.D.’s of 1/4″ and 1″ afford accurate guiding of many hard-to-measure materials. Stainless and heat-treated steel used for all shafts and surfaces subject to wear by material’s passage. Mechanical counter adds or subtracts. Resets to ZERO with one turn of knob. Model LR100-1410 indicates to 9,999′-11″.
Height of Measurer is 8-5/16″. Width, including Handle is 7-1/4″ Unit has mounting holes for custom brackets or mounts to the optional 14″ bench-top stand.

Wire Length Counter measures in feet or meters
The LR100 series of wire length counter products are designed to be used to create a benchtop rewinding station or can be used as a portable cable length meter.
The LR100-1410 or LR100-1420 are the wire length counter part numbers. LR100-1410 is the wire length counter with footage units and measures in feet and inches. The LR100-1420 is the metric wire length counter and measures in meters with 10 centimeter increments. We have a combined length measuring device that measures in both feet and meters. These length counters have optional Urethane coated measuring wheels available to improve measurements of bare metal products.
You can position a de-reeler just before the wire length counter. The durable de-reeler simplifies the operation of pulling wire and cable neatly from your wire spools.
The wire coiling or spooling devices should be installed just after the cable and wire length counter. The coiling devices allow you to neatly wrap your wire length measurement section so it can be easily zip tied and packaged for shipment or further processing. The spooler aids in putting the cable coming from the cable length counter onto a spool. 3 sizes of wire coilers are available.
