Position Summary

Taymer continues to grow significantly as our technology becomes more widely accepted throughout the world. Your focus will be on building our US business and representing us onsite at customer plants as well as at Conferences and Tradeshows.  You will be working with our Sales Team based in Canada, as well as our Mechanical, Electrical and Photonics Engineers.

The successful applicant will be comfortable with both sales and negotiating as well as mechanical electrical and vision technologies.

Education Requirements

  • Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering Degree

Work Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years experience selling industrial machinery into the Wire and Cable Industry/ Medical Tubing Industry  (ideal candidate will have already heard of Taymer)
  • Comfortable servicing and maintaining Industrial Machinery
  • Familiar with CRM software
  • Experience working with vision systems including lighting and optics is an asset
  • International business experience
  • Industry experience: Wire and Cable and Medical Tubing

Skills

  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers
  • Ability to work independently. Must be a self-starter
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical skills
  • Familiar with industrial control systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell and support Taymer equipment remotely and at customer locations
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and Engineering to ensure all customer needs are documented and met
  • Coordinate with Taymer Service Engineers in the USA and Taymer’s headquarters in Canada
  • Work together with Engineering to assemble, fabricate and service components for Taymer’s machinery in the field
  • Regular travel to customer locations in the US (especially GA, AL, MS)
  • Some international travel
