Ink Contact Printing:

Taymer's ink contact printing technology is ideal for producing contact markings on hot / cold cable jackets. A typical location for these printers is after the water trough or separate rewinding lines. The ink contact printer uses ink, which comes in a variety of different colors.

Ink Contact printing has been in the industry for a long time. It is reliable, easy, and requires little maintenance. There is an ink bath that contains the ink. An ink wheel is used to transfer the ink to the print drum. The print drum will then print onto the cable. The ink will quickly react with the jacket and dry up to become a very durable print. There will be an indentation into the cable jacket as well. However, this method should be used on round cables in order to have maximized surface contact. In this printing method, changing ink or cleaning up might be slightly difficult, so spare parts are recommended.

Taymer's Advantages:

Excellent Ink Adhesion

Different colored inks are available depending on the jacket material. Taymer will find the optimal formulation so that the ink will adhere to the surface of the jacket. With the slight indentation from the print head and print inserts, the print will be clear and long-lasting.

Rigidity

A set of four guide rollers around the product ensures it is properly aligned with the print drum. This guarantees consistent high quality printing even if the size, shape or orientation of the product changes during the run.
